RACE CATEGORIES (ETC POINT SYSTEM)

ETC uses five race categories for its internal points system: XS, S, M, L, XL.

TRAIL Championship

Runners score for the TRAIL Championship if they finish a race categorized as:

• XS
  
• S (S category awards 30% more points than XS)

• M (M category awards 15% more points than S)

ULTRA Championship

Runners score for the ULTRA Championship if they finish a race categorized as:

• L
• XL (XL category awards 10% more points than L)

Leaderboard counting

• Only the 3 best results in the season are counted in the leaderboard for each championship (TRAIL and ULTRA).
• Points are accumulated separately in TRAIL and ULTRA.

Prize money eligibility requirement (3 races / 2 countries)

Participation in at least three (3) ETC races in at least two (2) different countries is a mandatory requirement to be eligible for prize money payouts.

Important:

• This requirement is not a condition for being included in the overall standings and does not affect scoring eligibility.
• All valid finishes within the official ETC season calendar are considered, regardless of category (TRAIL or ULTRA).

Taxes and prize responsibility

All prize amounts published or announced for this race are stated as gross amounts.
Prize payments shall be made as net amounts, after deduction of any taxes, withholding taxes, social contributions, or other mandatory charges required under the applicable legislation of the Republic of Slovenia.
The Organizer shall calculate, withhold, and remit any legally required deductions to the competent authorities in accordance with Slovenian law.

Winners are solely responsible for any additional tax obligations that may arise under the laws of their country of residence or any other applicable jurisdiction. The Organizer assumes no liability for any further tax reporting or payment obligations of the winners outside the Republic of Slovenia.
By accepting a prize, winners acknowledge and agree to comply with all applicable tax regulations.
